Our movement was born from the desire to take Torah out of the books and apply it to everyday life. Our goal is to relate the written halacha of the Torah to daily routine in order to provide for a more meaningful existence. We want to build a bridge that efficiently connects private, public, and religious life.

We want to make a change. We want the religious population in Israel to have the option of expressing themselves outside the religious world, a chance to take full social and political responsibility in the State of Israel. The last two generations have been able to use the teachings of HaRav Kook as a guide to connect the Torah to modern life. In past centuries, these writings have not been applied in a contemporary sense to the people and the land they live in. While progress is being made, the “plan” has holes in it because the Torah is only being applied to modern life in a general way. At the individual level, there is no facilitation of singular expression.

Because there is only a partial connection between the written Torah and daily life, a conflict has naturally arisen. Understandably, most people feel more connected to their everyday reality than the reality of the written Torah. At the same time, there is a fear of severing the ties between the two worlds. This calls for a method of bonding both lives together in an influential and practical way. If we can achieve this, the religious individual will be more inclined to participate in national activities.

This website provides our project with a sense of strength and stability to expand Torah study into the social, economic and political spheres. This process has taken 15 years of meticulous study and development; however, the culmination of this work is just reaching a stage where it can be used practically, in everyday life.

We want to attract dreamers who can see the potential and force in this project, dreamers who have the ability to bring this vision to fruition.
